Missy - Practice Manager

Missy grew up in Southern Maryland. She started working in Veterinary medicine at the age of 17. After moving to North Carolina in 2008, she continued to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She loves being able to help out all of her clients and patients. She has a frenchie of her own that she cares for.

Stephanie - Office Manager

Stephanie grew up in Florida and has been in the veterinary field since 2010. She moved to North Carolina in July 2022 and has since been working at our hospital. She is very passionate about building teams with a strong foundation for communication and empowerment. She firmly believes when there is a strong foundation, anything is possible. She is very family oriented, loves working as a team, and is excited to explore the mountains. She loves her cat Mya Marie and is looking forward to building a future right here in our little town.  

Tina - Reception

Tina has been working with our team since 2021. She is very passionate about her family and cooking. Her home-meals are drool worthy! She loves assisting our clients in any way she can. She is always there to welcome our clients with a smile and gives children some coloring pages while waiting for the family pets vet appointment to be completed. She loves her dog and cats and visits the mountains when she can.

Theresa - Reception

Theresa began working for our team October 2023. Her love for animals started at a young age working at a rescue farm in Laplata, MD. Theresa has 2 fur-babies that are more spoiled than her husband! She is a proud mother and was promoted to grandma in 2021. When Theresa isn't giving your pets love at the front desk, she is working on jeeps, going to the mountains, hiking, and trail-riding. 

Lauren B. - Lead Veterinary Assistant

Lauren started working as a team member in 2021. She is very passionate about her position and has been in the industry since 1996. She leads the assistance in knowledge, empowerment, and leading by example. She brings structure to the flow of our day. She has a deep love for her family and horses. She has multiple pets including horses, cats, dogs, lizards, and birds. She is excited to help all animals in any way that she can.

Dana - Veterinary Assistant

Dana has been working with our team since 2019. She started as a kennel tech and since has moved up to kennel manager/vet assistant. She is currently attending Penn Foster to become a Licensed Veterinarian Technician and is excited about her future in veterinary medicine. She is very goal oriented and is looking forward to helping your pet. She is very passionate about her family and in her spare times likes to watch movies, crime shows, and even does the occasional crossword puzzle.

Megan L. - Veterinary Assistant

Megan started working as a team member in 2020. She worked in the kennel for about a year before becoming kennel manager/vet assistant. She has a deep passion for animals and is very excited to pursue her Veterinarian Technician License through Penn Foster. When asked her favorite animal, she couldn’t decide as she loves them all—from the creepy crawlies to the fluffy bunnies. In her spare time, she enjoys art and being with her family.

Chad - Kennel Assistant

Chad has been working with our team since 2021. He’s going to school to become a veterinarian and is attending college to pursue his goal. Currently a leader in church he is passionate about people and pets. His love for animals show and you may find him playing with pets in the yard while on a walk or taking care of them while staying at our facility.

Hannah - Kennel Assistant

Hannah started working as a kennel technician in 2021. She loves cats and often cuddles them and constantly giving love and attention to your pets. She is interested in continuing her career path with animals. She has a deep passion for art, music, and collecting records. She loves going to the beach and hiking through the mountains.

Savannah - Groomer

Savannah has been grooming our pets since 2019. She loves making all the furry babies beautiful and trimmed. She has patients that allow her to work with many animals big and small. She is passionate about her family, children, and work life. She enjoys trips to the mountain and beach in her spare time.
